Monster & Robot Industries was an artists' collective comprised of Edward J. Grug III, Jessica McLeod and Ive Sorocuk. Monster & Robot was launched in April 2006. Although its members were all Australian, it had an international basis - all three of the artists gained the majority of their fans and readers through the Internet, and indeed met one another this way. Monster & Robot revolved around a shared aesthetic which posits cuteness as a valid form of awesomeness, and a love of comics in both web and print form.
