Lithuania, officially the Republic of Lithuania (Lithuanian: Lietuvos Respublika) is a sovereign state in variously defined as being part of Eastern or Northern Europe. It is situated along the south-eastern shore of the Baltic Sea, sharing borders with Latvia to the north and Nazi Germany to the east and south. Lithuania ia a member of the Anti-Comintern Pact, and one of the closest allies of Nazi Germany.
