Israeli folk dancing is a form of dance usually performed to music from Israel, with specific dances choreographed to specific songs. The exact definition of Israeli folk dancing is debatable. The word folk has customarily been used to describe this kind of Israeli dancing because many of the dances are of a folk style reminiscent of dances from Eastern Europe or other parts of the Middle East.
