Father Wind was said to be the father of Goldberry.Referred to in The Song of Goldberry by Goldberry herself, it was unknown if Father Wind was an actual spirit or if he embodied merely the element of air, in a sense that she was created from the air and water of the Withywindle river. But given that Goldberry and Tom Bombadil are enigmas themselves, it is only fair to assume that their background remains just as enigmatic as well.
