[Source] A Janta knife was a type of melee weapon that was in use at some point after the Battle of Yavin during the Galactic Civil War, a conflict fought between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire. The short, crudely-made knife could be held in one hand and it dealt physical damage to objects it struck. The Janta's knife blade was gray in color, while the knife's handle was brown.
