Paddy Vincent was the Finance Director of Newton & Ridley who went for a business lunch with a member of his staff, rep Dan Jones, at Nick's Bistro one day in June 2015. Coming in soon after them were Liz McDonald and Erica Holroyd and Paddy asked to be sat at the table adjoining theirs and was soon giving them his full repertoire of cheesy chat-up lines, much to Dan's embarrassment. The two ladies dealt with the attention easily but less happy with Paddy was Nick Tilsley as his attentions were concentrated on Erica, his pregnant girlfriend, and he made a point of asking the ladies if the two gentlemen were bothering them.
