Cabrin was born in a human enclave on Devaron to Schall and Amlynn Versailles. The family lived there working for a human owned and operated import/ export company. Life was fairly uneventful until an Imperial sweep of the enclave resulted in the deaths of his mother and grandfather which Cabrin witnessed. He was 16 at the time and after the funerals his father encouraged him to leave the system and seek a new life. Being familiar with basic shipboard operations allowed Cabrin to find a job on a small freighter which operated in the region. Over time he learned the more advanced systems including the cockpit and fell in with a group of smugglers and mercenaries in the Outer Rim Territories.
