phoenix wright wins an award of lawyer defense and has a party however during the party his hair burns off and edgeworth gets everyone to laugh at him. phoenix decides to get revenge and burn his hair off too but then edgeworths whole body catches on fire and he burns to death. the next day gumshoe and phoenix investigate and gumshoe thinks he did it and arrests himself. he also asks phoenix to defend him in court. at the trial phoenix defends gumshoe who was also prosecuting himself. gumshoe calls maya to the stand but she lies.
