L'Nel was a female Vulcan in the 22nd century. In the mid 2150s, she held the title of Ambassador, and served as a senior aide to Ambassador Soval during the negotiations to create the Coalition of Planets, and continuing in that role following the formation of that body. (ENT novels: The Good That Men Do, Kobayashi Maru) L'Nel was the mother of T'Prynn. (VAN novel: Harbinger). In their acknowledgements at the end of ENT novel: Kobayashi Maru the authors said that they have "stolen" the character from Mack, indicating that both L'Nels are indeed the same person.
