John Patrick McEnroe Jr. (born February 16, 1959) is a former tennis player, talk and game show host, and sports commentator. He is remembered for his controversial behavior (he would lose his temper when the judges made bad calls against him). This on-court behavior got John the nickname “SuperBrat”. He was married to actress Tatum O'Neal from 1986 to 1994, having 3 children. He is now married to singer Patti Smyth.
