A magical ring created by Welstiel Massing that masks the pressence of an undead from detection, even by sensitive beings such as Majay-hi. After Westiel is killed in battle by Magiere, Chane Andraso takes his possessions and uses the ring to keep his pressence hidden from Chap and later from Chap's daughter Shade.
