The Bishop's Wife is a Samuel Goldwyn romantic comedy feature film starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven, adapted from the 1928 novel of the same name by Robert Nathan. Although not strictly a Christmas special (much like It's a Wonderful Life), it remains popular fare during the holidays because of its setting during Christmas. It was remade in 1996 as The Preacher's Wife with less of a holiday-centric theme.
