A Mk VI Gate (also called GF Gate Mk VI) is a type of gate found in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Commonly found in the Temple Grounds area, Mk VI Gates use two Armored Security Locks and a tremendously durable structure to block off new areas. The two security locks must be shot to open the gate, but high-yield explosives can also blast through the obstruction.
