Eddie "Piolín" Sotelo, born in Ocotlán, Jalisco, is an actor and radio personality. He voices the ground sloth Uncle Fungus in Ice Age: Continental Drift. Given the nickname "Piolín" as a child, which means "Tweety Bird", Sotelo entered the United States as an illegal immigrant but went on to become a legal resident. Sotelo broadcasts a radio program in Los Angeles, '"Piolín" Por Las Mañana", which is intended as entertainment but also exhibits political awareness.
