Rhonda the Raccoon appeared in the "Raccoon & Polar Bear" episode of The Animal Show, where she told Stinky and Jake about raccoons and how they look for food. She is a streetwise creature who enjoys a good meal of garbage. She was actually brought in by Armstrong the Chicken Hawk when Jake forgot to get another guest to go before him. Rhonda first appeared as an unnamed raccoon on The Muppet Show. The puppet also appeared in A Muppet Family Christmas, Telling Stories with Tomie dePaola as a member of the Animal Band, and on Sesame Street backing Jill Scott on We Are All Earthlings.
