Rebel gunners were the Rebel Alliance counterpart of Imperial gunners. They were SpecForces heavy weapons specialists who operated heavy blaster-type weaponry or vehicle-mounted weapons. At Massassi Station, gunnery crews would man anti-air guns to provide air support for the base's starfighters as they fought off TIE fighter attacks launched by the Achtnak Turbine Station.
