Each item is followed by its location, or the type of Heartless, Nobody or Dream Eater that drops it upon defeat, as well as its drop rate in parenthesis. In Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts II, synthesis items are divided into four forms. In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, the synthesis materials appear as Dream Pieces, and are divided into three tiers, with a few exceptions.
