The LW50MG (also called XM806) is a .50 caliber light machine gun. Developed by Armament and Technical products branch of the US-based General Dynamics corporation. It was another machine gun that is going to replace the M2 Browning Machine Gun, and is still under prototype testing. It is made just like the XM312 because the M2 is too old and too heavy so it is not portable.
