Dylan Armstrong is aptly named. What else would you call a three-time Canadian champion in Shot Put, a four-time Canadian champion in Hammer Throw and a former Canadian Discus Champion, but arm-strong? As a junior competitor at the 1999 Pan American Junior Championships, he won a medal in three throwing disciplines: hammer throw (gold), shot put (silver) and discus (bronze). The next year, Armstrong earned a silver medal at the IAAF World Junior Championships in the hammer throw. Canada (also known as ) File:Flag of Canada.svg has never won an Olympic medal in the shot put.
