In Road to Ninja, Kushina was still the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki and Naruto was still her child. The difference was the Nine-Tails was released years after the normal date, when Sakura was a child, and Kizashi Haruno was the Fourth Hokage who gave his life to seal it into Naruto.
