Hurricane Aaliyah is a currently active Tropical Cyclone over the US. Aaliyah has caused widespread damage throughout it's life in the Leeward Islands and Haiti. Aaliyah weakened a bit before landfall over the Leeward Islands, because of dry air, and just because of Land Interaction. Aaliyah Strengthened once more, but stronger than before packing 155 MPH (250 kmh) and a central pressure of 933 mb. Aaliyah caused panic in Haiti and surrounding areas and also the US. Aaliyah was predicted to become a Category 5 Hurricane before it made landfall, but it made landfall earlier than expected. Once Aaliyah made landfall in the US it started a rapid weakening
