Troutlad was a stout young male otter in the crew of Rab Streambattle in Southsward. He was one of the primary rescuers of Truffen and Squirrelqueen Serena. He also was instrumental in the rescue of Mariel and her friends from the North tower of Castle Floret. He participated in one of the final battles against Silvamord's horderats. It is unknown if he died in the fighting.
