A blaster sight was a modification that could be added to a blaster. Referring to a modification to the blasters mechanics - rather than a physical sight - adding a blaster sight was a process that included installing a variable pressure adjuster into the blaster housing itself. The blasters trigger cable was then input into the adjuster, and then the adjuster was calibrated to specifications; the result was that when slightly depressed, a small amount of blaster gas would flow into the XCiter, and then be emitted from the blaster in the form of a thin beam of light, rather than a blaster bolt. Essentially, this gave the blaster an integrated spot-luma.
