The Bomb Guardian is an early boss in the GameCube video game Metroid Prime 2: Echoes that can be found in the Agon Temple. It is a darkling Sandigger with a pinkish tail that is required to be shot if you wish to defeat it. It has obtained the ability to create Morph Ball Bombs, which Samus Aran will obtain once she beats it. It is the first of many guardians in the video game, all of whom have one of Samus's items.
