Mace Windu, despite popular belief, survived his fall from Palpatine's office. Arm prosthetics, he took Ki-Adi-Mundi's purple lightsaber and stole a Jedi starfighter. Windu met up with A'sherrad Hett on Tatooine and the two started their trek across the Galaxy.
