Synthale was a type of drink made by a number of cultures. Quark sold Bajoran synthale at his bar on Deep Space 9, though he didn't think very highly of it, describing it as "dreadful" when Benjamin Sisko enquired about the local variety in 2369. (DS9 episode: "Emissary") A variety of synthale was available from the Ten-Forward bar on USS Enterprise-E in 2376 which Deanna Troi was drinking when she talked to Elias Vaughn about his recent orb experience.
