Shibli-Umm al-Ghanam (Arabic: الشبلي - أم الغنم‎, Hebrew: שִׁבְּלִי-אֻם אל-עַ'נַם‎) is an Israeli-Arab Bedouin local council at the base of Mount Tabor in Israel's North District. According to the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, Shibli-Umm al-Ghanam had a population of 4,800 inhabitants in 2005. The town is the result of a municipal merger of Bedouin villages of Shibli and Umm al-Ghanam in 1992. The former town of Shibli became a local council in 1984 and Umm al-Ghanam was established in 1940 as a Bedouin settlement and was recognized by the Israeli government in 1982.
