The Toran-Jowston War was a war between the newly founded Toran Republic and the City-States of Jowston, who had claimed the traditionally-Scarlet Moon held region of Senan, having occupied it during the Toran Liberation War as a ploy of the Toran Liberation Army. This caused friction between the city-states of Tinto and South Window. Seeing this, Highland increased military activity along Jowston's border. The war also soured relations with the new Toran Republic, confirming, in the eyes of Jowston, fears that the new nation would not be much different than the old Scarlet Moon Empire.
