Born as Karl Peter Geurs in Los Angeles, California he is well known for his work as writer, producer, director, and story editor on several animated projects including Flash Gordon (1979-1980), The New Adventures of Zorro (1981), Defenders of the Earth (1986), The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1988-1991), TaleSpin (1990-1994), Goof Troop (1992-1993), and Quack Pack (1996-1997). More recently, he worked as story editor on the special Strawberry Shortcake: The Berryfest Princess (2010) and wrote several episodes for the animated series Barney & Friends (2006-2010).
