Rick Berman was one of the persons considered by Olivia Taylor to be the replacement for Ethan Kanin as the White House Chief of Staff for her mother, President Allison Taylor at about 11:10pm. Olivia mentioned that Berman was already made his fortune outside of the government and would gladly take this opportunity to serve his country. Allison also considered Bob Justman. Until Ethan Kanin returned several hours later at the end of Day 7, the spot was filled by Olivia.
