A robo-dumpster was an automated, unmanned vehicle used mainly in urban areas to perform refuse collection operations. Depending on the model's internal guidance mechanism and computer capacity, they could be pre-programmed to perform their primary tasks without Human supervision. In some cases, they were remotely controlled through radio-transmitted instructions to the vehicles computer. As with all computer-automated vehicles, the robo-dumpster was monitored by Traffic Central.
