Star Wars is an upcoming Marvel Comics ongoing comic series written by Jason Aaron and John Cassaday. The series, which begins in January 2015, will be set between the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, with the first issue taking place two weeks after A New Hope. The comic series will feature all of the major film characters from A New Hope, including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, and Darth Vader.
