The Skalit' Mine is a now defunct coal mine near Hurbanova, Oceana. The mine was closed in 1958. It was operated by Hurbanovan Mining. Nowadays, it is flooded and not accessible anymore. The Skalit' mine was a small mine with a very low output. It was considered cost-intensive, and was one of the first mines to be closed, after the Strobro Mine, which was closed in the 1930s. The Skalit' Mine consists of three main tunnels with a network of several dozens of smaller tunnels branching away from the main mine. The mine could be entered with a small, rusty elevator.
