A species of carnivorous fish live in the caves that lead into Lost Valley. They exhibit schooling behavior and seem to have a voracious appetite for flesh. They may have either been base off of, or have been intended to be, piranhas. When Turok and Andar get lost during their search for drinkable water, they stumble upon a large bear. In trying to escape from it, they accidentally lead the bear into the path of a school of these carnivorous fish.
