A Kimber 1911 was a type of handgun. When going undercover as Jack Knudson, Jack Bauer was a given a Kimber 1911 from Babak Farrah's desk and told to kill Stumpy, one of Farrah's former associates. Jack used the gun to shoot the man's finger off, and Farrah took the gun back in order to finish him off. (Veto Power)
