In 1978 she worked as production assistant on the horror film Damien: Omen II. Prior to her work on Voyager, Levy worked as hair stylist on the television series Too Close for Comfort (1981), Growing Pains (1991-1992), and Seinfeld (1993). On the 1984 science fiction adventure The Last Starfighter she worked with fellow Trek alumni Werner Keppler, Gerald Solomon, and Rick Stratton.
