The Native Help Act was a document issued by the Fourth Republic in the Darkness era. It was part of a scheme by many corrupt Senators to get their respective Sectors a fleet to defend themselves with in case of an emergency. (A common variable in the Darkness era.) Luckily, the Gip barrel politics were mainly stopped by more respectable Senators. These Senators were a bit more pro-Jedi and issued fleets to all Jedi-aligned worlds. Such as the Ossus, Yavin IV, and Ruusan Defense Fleets.
