The Teen Grid was an idea introduced by LL to the public and met with conflicted opinions. The grid would be a version of Second Life that would be open for users under 18 to access. This fact caused many people to speak out against it, saying SL should only be available to adults. Some users also had issues with Linden Lab's rules for the Teen Grid, such as not allowing adults, which some users felt would limit their ability to watch their children while on Second Life.
