The Artifact of Sun is one of the twelve Chozo Artifacts that Samus finds on Tallon IV. It is located through a hidden tunnel in the Chozo Ice Temple. To find this, Samus must shoot the Chozo Statue found at the top with the Plasma Beam to melt the ice around it, then move into its hands by using the Morph Ball. This opens a Morph Ball tunnel below the Chozo Statue leading to the Artifact.
