Veelak was a Romulan colonel in the 24th century. Sometime prior to 2385, Veelak became a colonel and served on the Repatriation Committee, a committee ensuring the fair treatment of prisoners of war from the Dominion War. Also prior to 2385, Veelak fell in love with Cardassian prisoner of war Terek Pa'Dan, the two producing a child an indeterminate amount of time after beginning their union.
