Test 5, called the Numeric Projection Evaluation, is available on the site. The test lets recruits use mathematics to solve number sequence problems. Most of the questions require simple use of mathematics, such as 5, 6, 7, 8, ___ or multiplications like 2 8 64 768 ___ (multiplying by 4 then 8 then 12, so then 16). The last few questions also use the Fibonacci sequence, so for instance 5 8 13 21 ___ (8+5=13, 13+8=21, so the next is 21+13=34). One particularly difficult question involves using the Morse code cheat, and is a Conway sequence. A sequence such as 32 1312 11131112 _____ requires breaking the numbers, so 32 is "one three, one two" so 1312. Repeating this process makes the answer, so from 11131112 "three ones, one three, three ones, one two" would leave 31133112.
