Siracusa (Syracuse in English) is the capital of a province of the same name, situated on the east coast of Sicily by the Ionian Sea. After the death of Sonny Corleone, Don Tommasino made plans for Michael and Apollonia Corleone to be moved here for their own safety. However, Apollonia was killed by a car bomb before this could happen.
