Philipp Johann Adolf Schmitt (20 November 1902 - 8 August 1950) was a German SS officer who served as commandant of the concentration camp Fort Breendonk. He was convicted of and executed for war crimes in 1950. Schmitt was the last person ever to be executed in Belgium.
