The board can also be used to add more available spaces when used in a shop, and to assign a shopkeeper. When used in a ranch, it can assign a breeder. When in Design mode you can left-click a square with the mouse to change the floor or wall type, to further customize the look of your house. You can press Enter to choose from additional wall and floor types, or right-click on an existing floor/wall to copy that type of floor/wall. House boards can also be used to change museums and storage houses. Items on the floor will not prevent you from building a wall over them, but you can not make a wall where a creature is standing.
