The Alancyn or Alankyn (Old.Rhov. Alankunia) or "Kindred of Growth" were a Cult among the Northmen of Rhovanion.The Members of the Alancyn revered Yavanna, Araw and the Trees. The Cyn's main festivals were the Festival of the Hunt (about mid-Narwain or Afteryule), the Festival of Rebirth (end of Gwaeron or Rethe),the Festival of Berries (about the first day of Lótesse or mid-Thrimidge), and the Festival of Colors (Beginning of Ivanneth or mid-halimath).
