This challenge was posed in September 2012 by Otto Maton, who posted "World's briefest FK ficlet ever!", with the challenge to write a complete story that was even shorter. The challenge was taken up by Greer Watson, who offered "Empty"; and by Liz the Lucky, who offered an unnamed mini-fic based on Caesar's "Veni, vidi, vici" quotation (which was revised by Greer as "A Little Light Latin").
