The Federation Space Forces is the branch of the East Asian Federation armed forces concerned with operations in space and on planets other than Earth and the Umi Tourist Colony. The Space Forces are an self-governed subdivision of the Federation Air Forces, and as such have the constitutional authority to perform combat operations outside of the East Asian Federation, one of only two branches able to do so. The Headquarters of the Space Forces is Federation Center, along with all other armed forces of the Federation. The primary component of the Space Forces is the Starfleet.
