They are a reference to characters of the same name (the "Do Anything for a Buck" trio) from the 1982-1990 comedy show, "Newhart". Larry will give the party their autographs when asked to and they disappear instantly. The autograph can be sold, but have no other purpose in the game. When they are questioned about their motives, Larry will reply to the others that the party members are of the wrong generation and walk away. Just like others of their kind, they can be killed and drop the normal XP and loot, although missing the autograph.
