Akodo Reya was the wife of Akodo Masaya. They bore a daughter, Akodo Tsanuko, and a son Akodo Nichiro. In 1198 her husband was stripped of his name and thrown out of the Clan for false charges. The next year Tsanuko committed seppuku in protest.
