The action of the race came on lap 56 when Boris Said got loose and spun out, hitting Marcos Ambrose who slipped by through contact with Said. Said's #25 No Fear Energy Drink sponsored car wrecked, from a hit with Max Papis and contact from Marcos Ambrose. When an irritated and irate Boris Said climbed out of his racecar, he waited for Ambrose to come back around under caution. When Ambrose was in his sight, Boris Said angrily wagged his finger, and aimed his helmet as if he was going to toss it before he then went to the ambulance. NASCAR declared that Boris just wrecked himself and that Ambrose was just behind Boris at the time of the wreck; no penalties were given to Ambrose or Boris.
